Black Ops III game is now available finally for consoles, but a graphics comparison video shows you should get it on current gen if possible.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is now available, but by all accounts you should get it on current gen consoles if at all possible. We knew ahead of launch that PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players wouldn’t be able to play the campaign, but a new video showcases the graphics of last gen and current gen consoles side-by-side. And the Xbox 360 version doesn’t look so good.
The comparison video, put together by Candyland, compares scenes from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Black Ops III. You’ll get to see the same areas and scenes, but they look drastically different on the two consoles.
It is clear that Black Ops III was designed with current gen systems in mind before being scaled back. Some of the footage looks downright awful and there are many times when fans will feel like 2010’s Black Ops looked better.
It’s not pleasant viewing if PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 are your only options and graphical fidelity means anything to you.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
